RICKS BACKYARD BBQ &GRILL

We stopped here today for the first time- SO GOOD!! Friendly staff with smiles all around we had the Rick’s special (brisket, cole slaw & sauce) and the pulled pork. Def worth the stop!!

I went there today, my brother and his wife enjoyed the food.good portion felt comfortable, the fried chicken wings were fried to perfection, corn on the cob, potato salad collard greens, and of course the corn bread..loved it

It's no hype, the Food is great, the service is great, and it's make for a great picnic in the woods. I had the collar greens, corn bread, and mac & cheese. All very good, but the star of the show was the Pulled Pork Platter, the pork was wonderful. Wanda the server was so friendly, with a wonderful smile helped steer me to the best deal. And indead the pulled pork is a great food value. eNJoy

Talk about some good eating ribs! They are delicious! I had a half rack. Unless you want to have leftovers, that may be enough for you. Also had the wings. They only come as whole wings. They’re like a jumbo size. Way bigger than I’d like for wings. They were good though. Nice outdoor seating in a picnic area. Fans spread around to keep you cool in the heat. Plenty of picnic tables. Also nice music playing.rick really puts his thing down! Good job sir!

Rick catered a small family get together of about 15 people. Had ribs, pulled pork, brisket, BBQ chicken for the meats. All were excellent well seasoned, good pieces of meat. For the sides we had a potato salad that was excellent as well as mac n cheese, baked beans, collard greens that were all 5 *. Also had cornbread that we just reheated from last night's event and it was still soft, moist, and melted in my mouth with some butter on it. Unlike others that I contacted he actually had the order delivered to me. The driver was very kind and professional, bringing in several trays and helping me set them up. The food was nice, hot and fresh. We have both been to his place in Mizpah and had the catering event and would strongly recommend both. I spoke with Rick directly and he worked with me throughout the process making sure that he did everything that I wanted, which he did. My whole family raved about the food and we had enough where everyone was able to take home a plate and I have already got texts and calls saying that they were again enjoying a meal. All this and the price was very reasonable for the amount of food. Much thanks to Rick & his crew and feel confident in either eating in, picking up or using them for catering.

Would definitely make the drive again! You want bbq you should come by I loved everything! Being from the south I’m always looking for a good bbq place this hit the spot.. the staff were very friendly.. great experience!

Business changed hands? Was there today, it is now called "Rick's bbq and grill". Ordered the chicken platter with mac n cheese and coleslaw, chicken was tender, tasty bbq sauce. Also the rib sandwich, all very tender and tasty, but they put them between 2 slices of white bread, so minus half a star .
